Who we work with
Here at Excell Home Care, we work in unison with Excell For Training and Chesterfield Community Care Farm to offer you not only the very best in you’re own home care, we can also offer complementary day services and training from Excell For Training to the highest standards for those that we care for.
Chesterfield community care farm works on a 23 acre site at Lower Pilsley, near chesterfield. We offer a range of supportive and inclusive activities for young people with learning and physical disabilities and/or emotional, behavioural difficulties and work as part of a team caring for our livestock and land. We are a not for profit social enterprise working to benefit all our community.
This enables yourself to learn and become an integral part of the care farm with a great amount of achievement and responsibility when caring for our animals and to really show us, yourself and everyone else just what you are really capable of achieving.
The contributions of all participants are valued, regardless of how large or small they are. The farm is used for livestock enclosures – pigs, sheep, cows, goats, bearded dragons, rabbits and more – and in development for market gardening activity, maintaining the grounds such fencing and hedges!
